Ramya, also known by her real name Divya Spandana, (Kannada:ರಮ್ಯ) is a popular actress in the Kannada film industry. She also acts in Tamil and Telugu cinemas.
Ramya was born in Bangalore, Karnataka State on 29 November 1981. She studied at St. Hilda's school in Bangalore. She then earned her collegiate at St. Joseph's College of Commerce, Bangalore. Ramya participated in stage shows and dance rehearsals from her grade school days.
